RENOTEX BOND COAT RESIN SAND/CEMENT SLURRY MIX
(Method statement)

APPLICATION USE
To stabilise badly flaking paint and walls which suffer from acid and alkali attack.


SUITABLE SURFACES
Painted, brick, concrete, rendered or friable surfaces.

1. Brush down surfaces to establish a firm base.

2. Recommended mix to be mixed in a 20 litre bucket.
Add 5 litres of water.
Add 1 litre of Bond Coat Resin.
Add 12.5kg Reno-Prep Render (half bag).

Mix by hand or drill to consistency of a paintable slurry.
Apply by brush.
If mix is too thick extra water can be added.

3. Paint the slurry mix onto the surface. Allow to cure for 24 – 48 hours before the application of Renotex Rollercoat or other Renotex products.

COVERAGE
A 12.5kg mix will cover up to 20 sq M, very porous surfaces will require more materials.

NOTE
Reno-Bond is only added to make the slurry/stabilising mix, it is not to be added when using Reno-Prep Render as a 10mm render.

OTHER ALTERNATIVE
Reno-Prep Render can be substituted by sand and cement to the following formulation.

5 litres of water
1 litre Bond Coat Resin
5kg Portland Cement
5kg clean washed soft sand
