DESCRIPTION:

Hard wearing, durable, black sealer for exterior or interior use. Reno-Tarmac Revive seals, protects, restores and brightens drab Tarmac making cleaning easier and is suited to heavy traffic.

USES:

Reno-Tarmac Revive is ideal for drives, paths or hardstandings. It can be used for refurbishing drab friable tarmac or for sealing new repairs. It bonds and seals to give a uniform finish.

FORMULATION:

Manufactured to an exact specification and quality control. The formulation is based on a bituminous resin solution giving good adhesion and weather protection.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

Ensure surfaces are clean and dry, power washing is advisable. If necessary brush the surface to establish a firm base and repair any damage.

APPLICATION:

Apply at any temperature using brush or roller, for best results apply in two coats allowing the first coat to dry before application of the second coat.

COVERAGE:

Depending on the surface the coverage for 2 coats is approximately 2 square metres per litre.

DRYING TIMES:

Surface dry in 1 to 2 hours.
Vehicle traffic 4 to 6 hours.

PACKAGING:

Supplied in 25ltr metal resealable drums.

High Performance Tarmac Repair

DESCRIPTION:

Reno Tarmac Repair consists of a combination of selected aggregates and a special binder liquid based upon penetration bitumens, resins, adhesives and other additives. The aggregates used are granite or basalt with a polished stone value (PSV) conforming to UK Highways Specifications. The product conforms with the requirements of British Standard 4987.

PROPERTIES:

Reno Tarmac Repair is a permanent first time reinstatement wearing course. Reno Tarmac Repair will repair potholes, cracks and broken areas of any shape, depth or size in macadams/asphalt without the need of cutting out. Reno Tarmac Repair can be applied in any weather condition at temperatures from
-5°C . The product is applied cold, it does not require a tack coat or over-sealing. Heavy and continuous traffic may cross repairs immediately without any damage to reinstatement area. Reno Tarmac Repair is not subject to shrinkage or aggregate separation.

APPLICATION:

Tip product from the tub to over-fill the hole ensuring that all edges are filled (due to the size of the aggregates present do not attempt to feather edges).
Compact the material to the surrounding level using a hand tamper, compactor or roller. For larger areas or deep sections use a vibrating plate or roller, slightly wetting the drum with water.

The Reno Tarmac Repair may be immediately driven over by heavy and continuous traffic. Where repairs are to be driven over by fork lift trucks extra compaction and curing times are essential.

STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT:

Reno Tarmac Repair is specially formulated to remain workable for several hours after application to enable the material to be placed into reinstatements. Curing of the repair is by both compaction and air drying and is dependent upon temperatures and the weight and volume of traffic. However, during the curing process the materials will not be subject to deformation or pick up from vehicles.

PACKAGING AND STORAGE:

Reno Tarmac Repair is available in 25Kg re-sealable plastic tubs, the product has a minimum storage life of 10 months and part-used containers should be tightly sealed.
