Reno Step Safely

DESCRIPTION:

A resin based clear or coloured anti-slip coating which contains crushed marble.

USES:

Ideal coating for use on various surfaces e.g. ceramic, clay, marble and glazed tiles, concrete steps.

Tiled surfaces around swimming pools and terraces, including ceramic, clay, marble and glazed tiles.
Wood surfaces, stairways and decked areas.
Metal fire escapes.
Concrete surfaces, especially steps in sporting stadiums/arenas and other public areas.
Disabled ramp access.

FORMULATION:

Manufactured at our own factory to an exact specification and quality control. The formulation is based on 2 flexible interactive resins blended with other chemical components, giving excellent adhesion and long life. A fine crusted marble is added on site.

APPLICATION:

RENO STEP SAFELY may be applied at any temperature above 5°C, using a brush, or a roller for larger areas. DO NOT THIN this product.

COVERAGE:

Depending on the surface, coverage is up to 2 sq metres per litre, allowing for 2 coats.

PACKAGING:

RENO STEP SAFELY available in 2 ½ ltr, 5 ltr, 10 ltr, 20 ltr un-resealable metal container.

DRYING TIMES:

Surface dry in 1 hour, fully cured in 24 hours depending on temperature.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

Make sure surface is clean and dry.
Mask up areas not to be coated.
Apply first coat of RENO STEP SAFELY (do not thin) with brush or roller and while this coat is still wet, sprinkle apply the crushed marble to create the texture required.
When dry apply 2nd coat of RENO STEP SAFELY over the first marble coat.

OTHER USES:

The coloured smooth RENO STEP SAFELY product applied without the crushed marble can be used as a road-marking coating for car parks and factory demarcation safety lines.
