Reno Seal

RENO SEAL is a clear sealer for concrete floors, patios, kennel and cattery floors. This product is suitable for problematic floors where no damp proof membrane is present. Now available in any of our 12 standard colours.

RENO SEAL is a hardwearing durable, abrasion resistant, clear sealer for exterior or interior use. RENO SEAL seals and protects concrete floors or walls.

USES:

RENO SEAL is ideal for concrete (new or old), industrial, garage and workshop floors, shopping centres, concrete paving and stone patios.

FORMULATION:

RENO SEAL is manufactured at our own factory to an exact specification and quality control. The formulation is based on a thermoplastic acrylic copolymer resin possessing excellent colour gloss retention and exterior durability; selected to provide hard and tough films yet with sufficient plasticising character to maintain flexibility.

APPLICATION:

RENO SEAL may be applied at any temperature using a roller or brush. For best results, apply in two coats, allowing the first coat to dry before applying the second. DO NOT THIN DOWN.

COVERAGE:

Depending on the porosity if the surface, coverage for two coats is 2 to 3 square metres per litre.

METHOD STATEMENT:

New Floors

Allow the concrete to cure for 7 days.
Apply the RENO SEAL at any temperature using a brush or roller.
Apply in 2 coats allowing the 1st coat to dry before applying the second.
Apply at the rate of 2 - 3 sq metres per litre (depending on porosity).

Old Floors

If surface is painted then remove all old paint using an angle grinder with steel wire cup brush, or a special machine.
Old un-painted floors, make good any repairs and allow to cure.
Ensure surface is clean and dry, excessive soiling can be removed by a power washer or steam cleaner, grease and oil to be removed by a detergent.
Repeat stages 2,3 & 4 from above new floor.
Carry out stages 2,3 & 4 from the above list.

Adequate ventilation to be provided and appropriate clothing and mask to be worn.
