Oast House, Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Problem: Water ingress and damp on the cone section of the building.
Products used: Renotex ROLLERCOAT smooth (special colour to customer requirement for work on listed buildings) RENO PREP/RENO BOND admix primer.
The cone section of the oast house was letting in water. The cone was power-washed before the brush application of RENO PREP/RENO BOND primer mix. This was allowed to cure for 7 days before application of 2 coats of Renotex ROLLERCOAT.
Result: A watertight cone section and penetrating damp cured.
Scottish Castle
Problem: Rain penetration through stonework resulting in damp.
Products used: RENO SEAL.
The west and north facing walls were damp because of water penetration through 3 metre thick walls. Other available DIY products had been tried and failed.
Result: Renotex had the answer. 3 coats of RENO SEAL were applied and the water ingress was stopped.
